/ / One:
We started off this week looking for a place to live in Chicago. It was super frustrating, but I think we found a great place! We put in an application, so hopefully we will find out soon if we are approved.
/ / Two:
I know no one really cares about weather, but it is supposed to be sunny tomorrow for the first time in I-don’t-know-when, and I am excited to be outside. It’s perfect timing too because we are going to an outdoor wedding. Also, it would be really cool not to worry about hail or tornadoes for a day.
/ / Three:
Skyler sheds a lot twice a year, so I was really excited when Chewy sent me the FURminator Dual Brush for Dogs. I paired it with the FURminator deShedding Edge, and it worked really well! I got about two gallon bags of fur, but now she isn’t shedding anymore.
Disclosure: Chewy.com sent me the FURminator Dual Brush for Dogs to review. No further compensation was received, and all opinions are my own.
/ / Four:
On another Chicago note, I am so glad we were able to see our new city a bit! It definitely made me feel better about our move.
/ / Five:
Today, I am partnering with my friends at Chewy to give you a “Pamper Yourself and Your Dog” Giveaway. Skyler loves Hill’s Science Diet Jerky Snacks with Real Chicken, so when Chewy suggested giving them away, I was eager to share them with a winner.
I decided to add some beauty items to the giveaway, so both you and your dog can have a fun treat! The beauty pack includes: City Color Creamy Lip Stain, Cover Girl Eye Enhancers in Blushing Nudes, Figs & Rouge Hand Cream, Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask, and Julep Nail Polish in Bea.

Have a wonderful weekend!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Linking up with Amanda, Karli, and the High Five for Friday girls.
I'm so glad you're feeling better about Chicago, fingers crossed the application gets approved!! I need to try one of those brushes for one of my cats - she sheds like it's her job!
ReplyDeleteI think that's the same doggie brush Meghan @ Champagne and suburbs was talking about earlier in the week. Copper sheds some and it annoys me because I feel like I have to vacuum every day! {That's just not my style...} So fun that you guys got to see your new city and fingers crossed for you about where to live!
ReplyDeleteYay for no more shedding! Hope your app on the apartment gets approved.
ReplyDeleteCrossing my fingers for you on the application / apt!! You guys are going to love Chicago when you move - so much good food! Happy Friday! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteYEY! I'm glad you feel better about Chicago, and that you got to explore it more. Hopefully you get approved, and can cross that off your to-do list. It will make things feel even better! The weather down in Houston has been terrible as well. I'm glad that you are getting some good weather in for the outdoor wedding. I'm hoping some of the humidity dies off this weekend so it's enjoyable to be outside.
ReplyDeleteWe use the FURminator brush on Georgia, and it does wonders. She sheds all year but it adds more days between cleaning the floors than before we had it. Just love it.
What area of Chicago are you looking to live in! Love your puppy dog - so cute!!! Great giveaway too!

Fingers crossed you get the house! House hunting is so fun. I definitely troll the listings in my area on the regular even though we aren't planning on moving for a few years. Have fun at the wedding!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed you get through with you application and have fun at the wedding tomorrow! Enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love Chicago. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun to live there. Plenty to see and do!
ReplyDeleteYAY Chicago! My favorite city. Glad you got a chance to explore a little and find a place to live (fingers crossed for you). I remember the post-match was the most stressful, trying to find a place to live, then pack, graduation and move/get settled in new place before residency begins. Hang tight!! Hope you're having a great weekend, and thanks for linking up again at H54F!
