Go to a baseball game.
Chris and I went to a baseball game with my job last week, and we had so much fun! Even though the game we went to was terrible, we loved hanging out with friends and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Go on a picnic.
Lately, it has been stormy and muddy (typical Texas spring weather), but every once in a while we have beautiful days. I would love to spend one of those days having a picnic in the park with my love.
Take a photo in bluebonnets.
Sadly, I’m not sure this will happen this year because they are all starting to die, but in all the years I have lived in Texas, I have never taken a photo in bluebonnets. If we don’t get to do it this year, it is definitely on my list for when we return from Chicago.
Have a barbecue.
Memorial Day is right before we leave Texas, and I would love to have a nice Texas barbecue before we leave.
Spend as much time with Chris as possible.
Have I mentioned that Chris will be working a ton of hours each week while we are in Chicago? I want to fit in as much time together as I can before we have to deal with his crazy schedule.
What’s on your spring bucket list?
You have to take pictures in the bluebonnets, even if it's when y'all get back from Chicago. It's just screams Spring in Texas!
ReplyDeleteI love picnics during this time of year - it's so fun! xo, Biana - BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteGreat list! A picnic sounds like the perfect way to spend some time together in Spring/Texas. :)
ReplyDeleteAww sounds like a wonderful bucket list! I hope you're able to get your shot with the bluebonnets. If not, definitely on a return visit!

That's a pretty great bucket list. I hope you get to do it all!
ReplyDeleteMy spring bucket list basically includes spending as much time with MY Chris as possible because we're both so busy right now.
Oh that sucks you probably won't be able to get some photos with the blue bonnets. Sounds like such a pretty photo opp! Hope you get to fit in as much of the list as possible before heading over to Chicago. A BBQ for memorial sounds like a perfect way to celebrate the long weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove this list! I would totally soak up as much Texas BBQ as possible. I miss it so much!
ReplyDeleteI can imagine, Rachel! I am already thinking of missing Texas brisket!
DeleteYou absolutely need to get yourself a bluebonnet photo! Make it happen!!!
ReplyDeleteI really want to! We have had lots of severe weather lately, so it hasn't been possible. I hope the hail doesn't kill them all!
DeleteAll such fun activities! My husband and i always come down to Texas in the fall and with these blue bonnets I'm really wishing it was the spring!
ReplyDeleteThe bluebonnets are a must! I was so bummed when they were already dead last April when I came to Austin. Now I know I need to go earlier in the spring and see those because they truly are Texas in the spring. Mmmm TX BBQ...my mouth is watering at the thought!
ReplyDeleteBluebonnet season is my favorite time in Texas. I love that they are wildflowers, and you're never exactly sure where or when they'll bloom or how long they will last.
ReplyDeleteThe last one is super sweet. Definitely take in all the time you can. My husband and I went to a baseball game recently, and I really found myself enjoying it. Like you, the game was terrible that night but the rest was amazing. Hopefully you'll get some good weather soon to take that picnic!
ReplyDeleteGreat Spring goals!! I hope you get to do it all!
