One.
I could seriously eat crab legs for every meal and never get tired of them. Sadly, they are super expensive, but Chris knows that I will be happy on my birthday as long as I get to go to a seafood restaurant.
I hate Styrofoam. You know how some people can’t stand fingernails on a chalkboard? Styrofoam has that effect on me. Just thinking about it makes me cringe.
Three.
I am a Baylor Bear through and through. Baylor will always have a special place in my heart because Chris and I met on our first day there. I love Baylor sports and am eagerly waiting for football season.
My hometown has a 14-hour time difference with Texas. It made for some interesting phone calls with friends and family growing up.
Five.
I am a total night owl. I have no problems staying up till 5 a.m. (which becomes an issue when I am reading a good book). Good luck getting me up early the next day, though!
Six.
Fall is my favorite season. I love the clothes, crisp temperatures, and gorgeous fall foliage. We even went on a fall foliage cruise last year and had so much fun.
Seven.
When we first moved to Texas, I spent years rejecting all things Texan. Now I say y’all all the time and will happily eat Tex-Mex and barbecue. I will never get used to the heat, though!
Eight.
I am trying to eat healthy, but I love candy. If I’m having a bad day (or let's be honest, a good day), sour gummy worms or Sour Punch strawberry straws make the world a better place.
Nine.
I am a total news junkie. Chris gets annoyed with me because I will happily watch (and read) the news all day.
Ten.
I love blankets, even in the summer. I even keep a blanket in Chris’s car, so I can use it when he’s driving.
Now it’s your turn! Tell me a random fact about you.
Fall is my favorite season too! I always can't wait for that first crisp, cool day. And I totally love blankets all year round too. I come home and sit on the couch with a blanket every day!

Yes to Fall and blankets! So cozy!
ReplyDeleteI am counting down the days till fall! :)
DeleteI love blankets too. I can't sleep without one. Even if it's blistering hot, I need a blanket.

Exactly! I'm glad so many people like blankets too because my husband thinks I'm crazy! Haha.
DeleteThank goodness for football season! Baylor's new stadium is so pretty! And I don't think you ever get used to the Texas heat. I've lived here my whole life, and I'm still not used to it.
ReplyDeletei am totally the same with blankets! all year round. i have never had crab legs lol
ReplyDeleteHow adorable is that doggy blanket snuggle picture! I'm the same with blankets year round, and my husband thinks I'm crazy :-P
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite! A fall foliage cruise sounds like heaven! I'm the same with candy/sweets...I indulge a little too often. I get in a cycle, then I finally break it, then I'm back at it.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way with blankets, no matter how warm it is!
ReplyDeleteYES to fall! SO excited! I love blankets too, even in the hottest part of Summer I will have a blanket on if I'm laying on the couch. I have a college friend who went to grad school at Baylor, she loved it!
ReplyDeleteHey, your Bears are ranked pretty high in the college rankings. I had them on my list to take but my uncle got them first. *shakes my fist* :)
ReplyDeleteAhh I love seafood too - it must be in our blood or something! I'm 100% the opposite and not a night owl at all!! xo, biana
ReplyDeleteOh man, that crab leg looks AMAZING. I've been wanting to try lobster forever, but usually if Reg and I splurge on food it's sushi :)

I'm with you on the Styrofoam...the sound of it crawls my blood. My husband is the news/weather junkie in the family. Sometimes I have to say..."okay we've seen this same report already for the day, please change the channel". haha
ReplyDeleteI now have a 17 hour time difference, so I feel ya on that one. I'm a blanket queen myself, no matter the season. Fall is beautiful, but I love Spring the bestest!
ReplyDeleteI love crab, sooo good! And a fall foliage cruise, that sounds amazing I love all the fall colors!
ReplyDeleteI love posts like these :) So fun to get to know you better!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the last time I ate crab legs (the time I do remember was Christmas eve.... 2 1/2 years ago! Mia was only 4 days old so you can imagine just how out of it I was, so I'm sure I didn't even enjoy them to the fullest) I need some ASAP!
Oh Fall is my FAVORITE and I've been a little heart broken over the fact that we won't be getting Fall here in Arizona! At least I get a new baby at the exact same time to distract me from it, ha ha! Fall in Utah is just the best and I'm going to miss it! I do, however, want to go back East someday in the Fall to see the foliage!
I am the same way with fall in Texas-it just isn't the same! :( Can't wait for cute photos of your little one! You definitely need to try crab legs again-my favorite is snow crab legs! :)
DeleteTexas has that effect on a lot of people :) My husband is from Philly and he's totally a Texan now after being married to me for over a decade. I love seafood as well, that's my go-to choice when my husband asks where I want to go for dinner. Have you been to Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak in CHI yet? We went there for our anniversary dinner one year :)
ReplyDeleteWe went there in Vegas and loved it! The crab was amazing. :)
DeleteIf I were in the US I think fall would be my favourite season as well. Also my sister lives in Australia so I feel you on the time difference.
ReplyDeleteI'm addicted to the news. It's kind of a problem. And it's hilarious because my Chris NEVER watches the news.
