Grand Turk
Grand Turk was the port that made me fall in love with the Caribbean. The water at Grand Turk was absolutely beautiful, and we had an amazing time exploring the island and enjoying the beach. Even my husband, who normally hates the beach, loved the beach at Grand Turk. Since we visited, all we can talk about is going back.
Saint Lucia
For me, Saint Lucia had it all. I loved visiting the lush rainforest and botanical gardens, seeing the Pitons, and taking a boat ride to a beautiful snorkeling spot. I left the island feeling like there was so much more to explore.
Roatan, Honduras
I visited Roatan on our New Year’s Caribbean cruise, and we loved our shore excursion so much we would do it again! Maya Key was the perfect way to spend our day. Other than the nice beach area, they had a pier perfect for snorkeling, an animal sanctuary where they led tours on how they rehabilitated the animals, a sea lion habitat, and a replica of Mayan ruins with a museum. There was so much to do that I wish we had more than one day to experience it!
Have you been on a Caribbean cruise? What were your favorite ports?
Roatan is definitely my favorite! We had the best time there and it was beautiful! I've heard great things about both Grand Turk and Saint Lucia and would love to visit both :)
ReplyDeleteI have never been to any of these places nor have I ever been on a cruise. I have heard Roatan is beautiful. My friends loved it there.
ReplyDeleteThose all sound amazing! I've never been to the Caribbean but I so want to! The color of the water alone makes me desperate to see it in person!
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhh, this makes me want to go on a Caribbean adventure so bad! I need some beaches and sunshine in my life!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to any of those but a friend of mine went to Roatan last year and loved it!! I need to check it out! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteFabulous post gurlie, oh how I LOVE cruising! I'm still licking my wounds from being super upset that our cruise skipped the port in Grand Turk last spring. That's the port I was looking forward to most, hoping to catch it on our next cruise :)

ahhh you are making me want to cruise. If we do, we'll definitely hit up one or all of these places!
ReplyDeleteI love cruises and my husband despises them but he has never even been on one! He's ridiculous, lol! We went to St Lucia for our honeymoon in August and the Pitons were definitely amazing!
ReplyDeleteI loved Utila, Honduras so much that I really want to visit Roatan. I've heard great things!
ReplyDeleteI've never been on a cruise but seeing all of these beautiful places makes me really want to go on one! The water in Grand Turk looks incredible.
ReplyDeleteI love the water in Grand Turk! It's so stunning. :)
DeleteSt. Lucia was at the top of our list for our honeymoon, but we ended up going to St. Maarten instead. We loved St. Maarten, but I'd still love to visit St. Lucia because I've heard about how beautiful it is and how untouched it seems to be.
ReplyDeleteSaint Lucia is really similar to Trinidad in terms of eco-system and beaches although I wouldn't rave about the port itself.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh this just makes my cruise fever stronger!! I've only been on 1 and it was to Mexico. I want to go to the Bahama's sooooo bad!!! Those all sound so perfect. I want to go so bad haha

I have never been on a cruise before - I know, crazy! Growing up, my dad and I always wanted to go on trips where we could play golf, so cruising was never really in the picture. Now that I'm more into exploring new places, my husband and I definitely want to try out a cruise!
ReplyDeleteWell it looks like I should really think about going on a cruise! That water is SO blue!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Seems like all those places would be incredible, but the blue waters in the Turks are exactly what I love!
ReplyDeleteOut of these three I've only been to St. Lucia, but it was my clear favorite. Such beautiful stops!
