One. Charleston, South Carolina
My mother-in-law subscribes to Southern Living, and Charleston often makes an appearance on its travel pages. It just looks so cute, and I know that I would love it.
Two. Crater Lake, Oregon
I should just add the entire state of Oregon to this list (I really want to visit Portland!), but I have wanted to visit Crater Lake for years. All of the photos I have seen of the area are gorgeous.
Three. Washington, D.C.
I have no idea how I haven’t managed to see our nation’s capital, but this needs to change as soon as possible. I would love to see DC during cherry blossom season.
Four. Asheville, North Carolina
I have always wanted to visit the Biltmore Estate, and I think Asheville would be a great area to explore. Plus, it’s close to the Smoky Mountains, which are also on my list.
Five. Nashville, Tennessee
There are a bunch of places I want to see in Nashville, but a tour at the Grand Ole Opry and a visit to the Parthenon are on the top of my list!
Linking up with Amanda, Karli, and the High Five for Friday girls.
Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!
Charleston is just as charming as it seems! Go, go, go!
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome list! I LOVE Charleston - if you go, get ready to eat a lot of delicious southern food! We lived in DC for three years and still go back to visit. The Cherry Blossom Festival time is beautiful, but it is crazy crowded. Personally my favorite time of year is the fall - I miss those beautiful fall colors so much. As you know, we don't get those much in Texas. :) Oregon and Asheville are at the top of my list too. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI totally want to visit Charleston. It's on my wish list. I have heard Ashville is pretty amazing as well.
ReplyDeleteI just went to Charleston and it's beautiful! I'd definitely recommend a visit! DC is only an hour from me and I never get tired of visiting! There is so much to do and so much of our nations history :) I actually didn't like Nashville as much as I thought I would but I'm still glad I visited :) Two crater lake and Ashville both look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great travel to-do list. I can personally recommend DC and Asheville. There is so much to see and do in DC. I have been several times and still feel like I'm just scratching the surface. We spent last Thanksgiving in Asheville...absolutely loved it. It had my husband and I thinking of a future retirement location!
ReplyDeleteI've been to Charleston, DC, and Nashville - they're awesome! Oregon is at the top of my U.S. bucket list. Crater Lake looks gorgeous!

I feel like I need to explore the entire state of Oregon. Everything looks stunning in photos!
DeleteYou definitely need to visit nashville! It's amazing!
ReplyDeleteYES to all of these! I'm biased, but I think Charleston is the most magical place in the world :) So yes, go!
ReplyDeleteI lived in DC for one summer while studying ballet so I also LOVE DC! So much to do and explore.
I have been to four of the five places you have on your list (I've never been to Oregon) and I can tell you that all of them rock! Charleston has amazing food, Nashville has such a fun downtown, Asheville has the Biltmore and lots of great hiking and DC is...well it's DC!
ReplyDeleteYay, I'm so glad to hear that! I need to start planning some trips soon! :)
DeleteCharleston and Nashville are on my list, too! I drove through Nashville recently but sadly we couldn't explore.
ReplyDeleteAww, bummer! Hope you get to see Nashville soon! :)
DeleteI've been to DC, but only for a class trip for a journalism class I had in college. We didn't get to see nearly everything the city has to offer, but I did get to check out some cool places. I've been through Asheville, but I was a kid and we didn't get to really do much.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to see everything DC has to offer in a short time! I would love to spend a week there, but I would even be happy with a weekend. :)
DeleteYou definitely need to plan a trip to all of these places so soon! I know that you'd love Charleston because it is such a cute southern town, and Asheville looks like it would be too! Nashville is so much fun and has a ton of stuff to do and eat and see. A trip to DC during the cherry blossoms is hands down one of the best trips we've ever taken! I love that you mentioned US cities that you want to visit because I think that sometimes people forget how many amazing places we have right here at home.
ReplyDeleteYessss come to Charleston!
ReplyDeleteYou would absolutely love Charleston...I need to go again - I'm pretty sure I'd move there! Nashville is on our list this year :) xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteLoved DC and Nashville!! I haven't made it to the other places yet either, but they look amazing!

ReplyDeleteYour list is pretty good! Having lived in Nashville, I can't say enough great things about that city. And yes, you need to add the whole state of Oregon. The coast is amazing!!! If you haven't been I would add Savannah too!
ReplyDeleteCharleston is the best city in the US, in my opinion. And not just because I got engaged and we spend part of our honeymoon there. ;) The Biltmore is also pretty impressive!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like I need to make it to Charleston as soon as possible! :)
DeleteSeeing the cherry blossoms in DC is at the top of my list, too! All of the pictures of them are always just so gorgeous. And Charleston is AMAZING. We went there for our first anniversary and it's been one of our favorite vacations ever!
ReplyDeleteI've been to DC and LOVED it. But I want to go back because I didn't go to a single museum. Crazy, right? The rest of these are all on my list too.
ReplyDeleteHi Olya..:) Thanks for stopping by my blog! I live in Canada, but I will love to see more of the US. I would love to go down the Oregon Coast...and probably to Nashville (I love Country music!). Oh, and to Savannah...and to N.O, LA. :)
ReplyDeleteSavannah is also on my list! It looks like such a charming Southern city! :)
DeleteI love DC! Such an energetic and historic American city. :)
ReplyDelete<3 Have Ashley, Will Travel
