Last week I had so much fun sharing the top places on my United States travel list, so this week, I thought I would share the top six places I want to visit again as soon as possible. I had the hardest time narrowing down this list because the United States is full of so many amazing places.
Lake Tahoe
Growing up, we went to San Francisco for a month every summer and a month every winter to visit family friends. Most of that month during the winter was spent in Lake Tahoe, and it is one of my favorite places in the world. I haven’t been back since I was a kid, and I would love to go with Chris someday.
Hawaii
The biggest trip I ever took with my family was a 2.5-week adventure in Hawaii, visiting Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. Chris has never been to Hawaii, and I would love to go with him for our next big anniversary.
Maine
We visited Maine in 2014 on our fall foliage cruise, and I fell in love. I would love to see more of the beautiful state and revisit Portland, Kennebunkport, and Bar Harbor. One of my big dreams is to own a summer home in Maine.

New York City
New York City will always have a special place in my heart because it’s where we lived when we first moved to the United States. My best friend is moving to Long Island from Texas just as we are moving back (perfect timing, right?), so I would love to visit her in New York City while she’s there.
Las Vegas
Vegas is my favorite place to go when we only have a few days of vacation. With amazing food, great shows, and fun hotels, there is always plenty to do. When we move back to Texas, I hope to book a short trip to Vegas.

Alaska
I had hoped to keep this list to five places, but there was no way I was going to make a list of places I want to return without mentioning Alaska. It is easily one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited, and I would go back in a heartbeat. I need to write a few more Alaska posts on here to show y’all just how magical this state is.
